Job Title: Supplemental Data Collection - RN/LPN
Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in the state of Tennessee or a compact state to join our team for a supplemental data collection project. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in HEDIS or supplemental data project abstraction methods, although this is preferred and not required. This position involves some travel and requires the ability to work independently, possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and have a working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve, review, and abstract medical record data required for multiple and complex STARS and HEDIS measures.
- Enter data into the quality program tool.
- Perform on-site medical record reviews at physician offices or in the office.
- Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff regarding provider scheduling and on-site medical record retrieval as needed.
- Represent the organization professionally, utilizing time and resources efficiently.
- Ensure computer proficiency and experience with electronic data transfer and use of removable media devices.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Hold a current valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation for project participation.
Essential Skills
- Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or compact state.
- Experience in medical record review.
- Knowledge and experience of HEDIS or supplemental data project abstraction methods.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent telephone and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.

Work Environment
This temporary contract position will perform as a remote employee throughout the project from May to January, with the requirement to travel within their region. The project involves a combination of remote work and on-site medical record reviews at physician offices or in the office. The job offers a recurring project every year with potential full-time opportunities upon completion of the contract, as well as the possibility to return for future projects. Paid holidays are offered.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00/hr.
