Job Title: Regulatory Analyst

Job Description

The Regulatory Analyst will be responsible for interfacing with customers and vendors to verify quality and regulatory information including but not limited to specifications, GMO statements, SFS, ingredient statements, allergen, nutritionals, etc. This person will work closely with R&D, Quality, Production, and Sales teams and will provide technical support to product-related inquiries as appropriate. Additional responsibilities include reviewing and verifying products meet or exceed HACCP risk profiles, food safety plans, and all regulatory and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers and vendors to verify quality and regulatory information such as specifications, GMO statements, SFS, ingredient statements, allergen, and nutritionals.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, Production, and Sales teams.
• Provide technical support for product-related inquiries.
• Review and verify that products meet or exceed HACCP risk profiles and food safety plans.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years in Quality and/or Regulatory in the food, beverage, flavor, and/or ingredient manufacturing industry.
• Great communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills, leadership skills, problem-solving skills, and time-management skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with emphasis on Food Science or other related Science.
• Knowledge of FSA labeling regulations preferred.

Work Environment

Majority of the work is in the office. May occasionally need to go into the production area. Enjoy working at the 2nd largest spice provider in the state with six facilities across the country offering room to move around. Multiple bonuses throughout the year and one WFH day available after 90-day probation period, assuming performance is satisfactory.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $38.46/hr.
