Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in MEP. This individual will be performing all levels of electrical design including the design of complex electrical systems in accordance with current code requirements and sound engineering principles. You will oversee designs through project construction/completion and the development of construction documents. The ideal candidate can communicate effectively with engineers, project managers, and clients. The role involves conducting field visits to accurately document existing conditions and completing electrical calculations including load studies, voltage drop, panel/transformer/feeder loading, generator sizing, illumination levels, etc. You will design electrical systems for multifamily, hotels, higher education, K-12, and government facilities. A working knowledge of Revit is required, and knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of electrical design including the design of complex electrical systems.

Essential Skills

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in MEP.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• EIT certification preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work fully remote while residing in the DMV or PA.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, but candidates must live in the DMV or PA to conduct site visits when needed. There are offices in Baltimore and D.C. if someone prefers to work in the office. Enjoy the benefits of a new company with opportunities for upward mobility and monthly team happy hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $57.69
