Remote RN - Clinical Research Coordinator/Navigator

This person MUST HAVE:

• Valid, unencumbered RN license in the state of their residency, in EST or CST
• 5-10 years of current, relevant clinical research experience and possess specific recruiting expertise of difficult demographics - able to demonstrate strategy and success

HIGHLY preferred:

• Spanish proficiency
• Oncology experience

This is a 12- month contract role.

Pay is up to $55/hr.

Job Description

We are seeking a Remote Clinical Trial Navigator who will support clinical trial sites by answering medical questions, screening patients, and assisting with co-pay queries. This role is akin to a combination of Clinical Research Associate (CRA) and Medical Science Liaison (MSL). The ideal candidate will build strong relationships through video calls and provide comprehensive support to the site-level personnel.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical trial sites with medical queries and patient screening.
• Assist in checking co-pay details and determining the eligibility of volunteers for the study drug.
• Conduct WebEx/Teams video calls to build partnerships with clinical trial sites.
• Develop strong relationships with site-level personnel.
• Utilize Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) for efficient trial management.
• Leverage Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) experience if applicable.
• Understand and use Interactive Response Technology (IRT) for managing trial logistics.
• Ensure diverse recruitment by sharing experiences with underserved populations.
• Proactively offer assistance to sites and address any challenges related to insurance levels and patient diversity.

Essential Skills

• Experience in clinical research and clinical trials.
• Knowledge of oncology and Good Safety Practice (GSP).
• Ability to navigate the US healthcare system and perform administrative tasks.
• Experience as a Research Nurse or Coordinator.
• Proficiency in speaking Spanish.
• Ability to work proactively and independently.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with Phase II-III clinical trials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS).
• Knowledge of Interactive Response Technology (IRT).
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable.
• Home-based candidate in Central or Eastern time zone preferred.
