Job Description

The firm primarily services the steel industry for warehouse and distribution centers to mid-rise multi-story structures. As a Revit drafter (structural), you will work closely with Project Managers to assist with various tasks and contribute to the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• Adapting Structural and Architectural drawings into fabrication shop drawings and field-use erection plans.
• Coordinating and designing with customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Attending design and job site meetings.
• Printing, emailing, and distributing plans, RFPs, etc.
• Writing RFIs and submittals.
• Printing drawings for estimating and fabrication.
• Entering bill of material from drawings into EJE software.
• Creating job schedules.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Essential Skills

• At least 3 years of experience with a Building Design experience for commercial buildings, including structural, architecture, or facilities design.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Open to candidates from the mechanical, architectural or electrical discipline
• Ability to manage multiple projects with a Project Manager.
• Understanding of how to read blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of structural detailing and modeling using AutoCAD, Revit, and SDS2.
• Familiarity with the steel industry preferred)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.00
