Clinic Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated RN to assist the provider throughout the clinic. The role involves accurately recording patient history, monitoring medical records, maintaining supplies and equipment, and ensuring compliance with policies and standards. The candidate will also schedule appointments, relay test results, and initiate patient education.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record patient history.
• Retrieve initial basic condition of patients, create nursing history, and report to the appropriate practitioner.
• Monitor and ensure accuracy of recordings on patient medical records.
• Maintain all required reports, records, and statistics.
• Ensure an adequate stock of supplies and well-maintained equipment.
• Inspect area daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards, taking corrective action when necessary.
• Schedule all outside patient appointments per physician order and relay information accurately to patients.
• Take calls from hospitals/nursing homes and relay appropriate information to practitioners promptly.
• Assure test results are received and relayed to patients in a timely manner.

Essential Skills

• Experience with EMR systems.
• RN- State of TN licensure

Shift / Environment

• 8:00am - 4:30pm / Monday - Friday

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
