Job Title: Sales Representative

Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Representative to join our team. This position will cover the territory of Milford, West Haven, Orange, Ansonia, and Derby. The territory is highly dense, and you will be taking over many current customers. This is a permanent sales position.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new customers and develop new accounts.
• Maintain existing accounts and relationships.
• Develop and implement sound selling strategies.
• Strategize and execute long-term group marketing projects.
• Coordinate recycling service and transportation logistics.
• Draft contractual documents for ongoing service.
• Act as an expert in waste markets and service equipment.
• Build and manage relationships with clients.
• Expand our client base.
• Expedite the resolution of customers’ problems and complaints with maximum satisfaction.
• Maintain reasonable, regular, and punctual attendance consistent with company policies.
• Adapt to changing duties as required based on business needs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 5 years of experience in outside sales (experience in waste removal preferred).
• Demonstrated clerical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must have a current driver’s license and own vehicle.

Work Environment

Working from the road is expected, but you will be required to go to the office about once a week after a one-month training period. The environment is fast-paced and requires a proactive, hardworking, highly organized, and independent thinker. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
