Job Title: Aseptic Technician
Job Description
As an Aseptic Technician, you will work hands-on in ISO 7, ISO 8, and other classified areas with a variety of manufacturing labeling equipment and technologies. Your daily responsibilities will vary and include loading, operating, and preparing supplies for label printing. You will collaborate with pharmacy, manufacturing, and QA teams to troubleshoot, handle batch records, and manage labels for all Rx products. This role requires experience in reading SOPs, troubleshooting, effective communication, and previous cleanroom work experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company Safety Policies, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Report any accidents, incidents, injuries, or illnesses immediately and notify the manager of any hazards, unsafe acts, or conditions in the workplace.
- Complete production documentation and all appropriate logbooks accurately.
- Maintain cleaning logs per SOP requirements.
- Set up label machines and troubleshoot printer jams.
- Comprehend batch record information.
- Work within the pharmacy, manufacturing, and QA teams to troubleshoot issues related to batch records and labeling.
- Handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality.
- Manage heavy workload and aggressive timelines in a timely manner, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
- Work independently and with a sense of urgency, while engaging and listening to experts.
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) guidelines.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills.
- Ability to complete logbooks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and set up label machines.
- Experience in reading SOPs.
- Six months of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry or GMP-related industry.
- Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office software products, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to prioritize.
- Effective communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working within GMP and Pharmaceuticals.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and sterile processing.
- Ability to aseptically gown.
- Experience with R&D, batching, and sterilization.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
Work Environment
You will be working in ISO 7 and ISO 8 clean rooms within a 503A facility for direct patients. This is a full-time 1st shift position with working hours from 5am to 3:30pm. Occasionally, you may need to flex between shifts depending on business needs, including occasional weekends.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
