Job Title: SAP Support Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Support Manager responsible for developing and implementing solutions, supporting production applications, and reviewing and recommending new applications. This role will leverage SAP to support Production Planning and Execution, and Materials Management best practices within the SAP landscape. This is a hands-on position that will execute PP and MM configuration, functional documentation, developing system requirements, business process design, all PP/MM related unit testing, integration testing, system documentation, and training including materials and support procedures. The position will office in Eclectic, AL and report to the Director, Applications Support. Minimal travel to Alabama is anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Provide business analysis and process redesign expertise in SAP PP/MM functionality.
• SAP configuration, implementation, and support including Sales and Operations Planning, Demand Management, MRP, CRP, Scheduling, and Manufacturing Execution.
• Understand the integration points within ECC environment including SD, VC, QM, WM, FI, IM, PM, and external systems.
• Configure SAP functionality to satisfy business requirements and business process design.
• Prepare functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows as they relate to the PP/MM components of SAP.
• Support peripheral systems and interfaces related to the Production Planning and Materials Management function.
• Design and execute test plans to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are implemented properly and meet business objectives.
• Develop business relationships to ensure successful implementation and support project efforts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with representatives throughout the company.
• Resolve incidents across the SAP platform.
• Provide primary end user support and solutions for the SAP PP/MM modules and user community, including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of end user problems.
• Manage 3-5 direct reports in the areas of material and vendor master data maintenance, other associated data objects, and overall Plan to Produce Process Flow.
• Communicate with systems user community and management in a simple convincing manner on all levels with peers.
• Promote company culture and achieve common business goals through cooperative alignment with all departments.
• Periodically prepare and conduct SAP training.

Essential Skills

• 7-10 years of applicable SAP PP and MM functional experience.
• Completion of minimum three SAP implementations.
• Proficiency in project management principles and methodology.
• Integration knowledge with FICO and WM.
• Technical ability to configure applications that meet business needs.
• Strong understanding of business system design in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to complete deliverables efficiently.
• Strong commitment to customer service and support.
• Good working knowledge of PM and QM SAP modules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent job experience.
• 5 years of experience utilizing SAP modules in a manufacturing environment.
• 5 years of SAP management experience.
• 2 years of direct management experience (direct reports).
• Experience with SAP-Materials Management (MM) and SAP Sales Distribution (SD) modules.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interface with Director and VP levels.
• Experience with shop/manufacturing floor PP.

Work Environment

The role is expected to be on-site 5 days a week for the first 3 months in Goodwater. After that, there will be some hybrid capabilities with possibly 1 day per week remote. The position will require travel back and forth to the Eclectic, AL plant, approximately 1 hour 30 minutes between the two AL plants. Travel will be compensated. The standard work hours are 8:00am-5:00pm. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00
