We are looking for an experienced HMI Engineer to join our team and support the design, development, and commissioning of conveyor HMI/SCADA systems for UPS. With a significant number of UPS controls system upgrades planned for the next two years, we need a dedicated professional to manage multiple projects and collaborate with various engineering disciplines and teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, develop, write, and implement HMI/SCADA/GDU applications using Indusoft and Wonderware.
• Support and/or install software applications, operating systems, and computer and networking equipment.
• Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, execution, witnessing, and certification of software.
• Engage in site commissioning activities.
• Adhere to standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Design, plan, and coordinate work teams.
• Provide technical support to project team members.
• Lead and direct the work of others.

Essential Skills

• Strong Experience with HMI's
• Proficiency in HMI/SCADA software (Factory Talk, FT Optix, Wonderware, Indusoft)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of IoT, PLC programming, Python, and VBScript

Work Environment

This role involves up to 80% travel to customer sites across the United States. All travel is covered such as loding, airfare, rental cars, etc. Plus GSA per diem is offered while traveling for 3 meals a day. They work a 10 days on travel schedule with 4 days off once you return home.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
