Scheduler
The Project Controls Analyst will develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules using specialized software. They will provide cost-loaded schedules as well as ready-to-execute resource-loaded and logic-driven schedules. They will conduct schedule maintenance, collect progress data, develop and implement project schedule/status reports, and provide consistent, accurate information to the project team. They will also mentor and train less experienced Project Controls Analysts.
Responsibilities
- Perform all project schedule and cost-related updates throughout the lifecycle of projects assigned using Primavera.
- Interface with engineering, construction, planning, project management, and other transmission partners to verify updated schedule, resource, and cost information.
- Conduct and lead project schedule baseline review meetings with team members.
- Analyze project progress and make recommendations as to forecasted costs.
- Maintain estimated costs in Primavera.
- Perform final project assessment to ensure compliance with PCG standards.
- Assist in developing metrics and measures for the TE&PS project portfolio.
- Participate in the development of project control standards and guidelines.
- Ensure planning, engineering, construction, and project management are following PLMP processes.
- Mentor and train less experienced Project Controls Analysts.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Primavera scheduling software.
- Experience in scheduling and project controls in construction.
- Ability to interface with engineering, construction, planning, and project management teams.
- Strong analytical skills for project progress and cost forecasting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $50.00/hr.
