Job Title: Scheduler

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduler to create and manage master schedules for CAPEX projects. This role involves partnering with project managers, importing and analyzing schedules, and reporting on schedule deviations and cost impacts.

Responsibilities

• Create Master Schedule in Primavera P6 and educate clients on best practices related to CAPEX project scheduling.
• Partner and work hand in hand with Project Manager overseeing the entire CAPEX project.
• Obtain and import OEM schedules and inputs into the Master schedule.
• Review and report any schedule deviations or risks to clients, focusing on impacts to the schedule critical path.
• Import P6 schedule into PMO Office System for documentation, using JIRA.
• Review and report cost impacts related to scheduling decisions.
• Track and report key items of all projects accurately.
• Compare client's information with vendor-provided information to determine validity.
• Develop and maintain master schedule in the client-assigned location.
• Identify major milestones, critical path items, critical approvals, and long lead items.
• Determine schedule logic and constraints based on discussions with task owners or teams.
• Develop realistic activity durations based on production rates and available manpower inputs from task owners or teams.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Experience in construction scheduling.
• Ability to build a schedule from scratch.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with PMO software, specifically JIRA preferred

Work Environment

This position is onsite in Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
