Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using React with TypeScript and .NET APIs. The ideal candidate will lead system design and architecture discussions, implement Test Driven Development (TDD) practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful projects. You will also utilize the Azure stack for application deployment and management, and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using React with TypeScript and .NET APIs.
• Lead and participate in system design and architecture discussions to ensure robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
• Implement Test Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects in a timely manner.
• Utilize the Azure stack for deploying and managing applications.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Work closely with partner teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance development efficiency and product quality.

Essential Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in software architecture and/or development with a strong focus on writing high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Experience developing Web API applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in a Scrum team.
• Experience with the Azure stack (KeyVault, CosmosDB, Storage Accounts).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Extensive experience in system design and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Proven track record in application development and, preferably, platform development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience developing robust and performant applications using C#, .NET, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience with at least two of the following DBMS methodologies: Azure SQL, Cosmos Db, Mongo Db.
• Experience with at least one of the following: PowerShell, Python, Rust.
• Experience with at least two of the following web apps: Azure Web Apps with App Service, Azure Function Apps, AKS, ACA/ACR, Azure Static Web App/Site.
• Experience with at least one of the following workflow management tools: Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate.
• Proven experience in Agile development, source code management, and CI/CD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
