Job Title: Security Systems Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Security Systems Engineer with a strong exp in embedded software to join our team and ensure the security and reliability of chassis management systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement security solutions for the chassis management system to protect against cyber threats.
• Conduct security assessments, including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and risk assessments, to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Integrate security features such as encryption, authentication, and secure boot into the embedded software of the chassis management system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and system architects, to ensure comprehensive security measures.
• Perform security testing, including penetration testing and code reviews, to validate the effectiveness of security implementations.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve the security posture of the chassis management system.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to security requirements, design specifications, and testing procedures.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in embedded software development and cybersecurity, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of embedded operating systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and microcontroller architectures.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C , and Python.
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as ISO, ISO/SAE, and NIST.
• Familiarity with cryptographic algorithms, secure coding practices, and security testing tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of functional safety standards and practices.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or similar.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
