Job Title: Senior Bridge Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bridge Design Engineer and Project Manager to join a team that supports MTA, DOT, and DDC projects in the Northeast. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bridge design and project management, with the ability to oversee multiple projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage bridge design projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Develop and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge projects.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design standards.
- Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and technical documentation.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise and support.
- Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and best practices in bridge engineering and project management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in bridge design and project management.
- Proficiency in bridge design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro).
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel to Connecticut on a monthly basis.
