- PAY: $115,000 to 120,000 an hour depending on experience
- SCHEDULE/ENVIRONMENT: On-site; this individual will float around to all 3 facilities (Twinsburg, Cleveland, Avon)
Description:
Designs process systems, improves currents processes and resolves process-related manufacturing issues.
Responsible for managing capital projects to include; cost effective capital acquisitions, upgrades, installations, required documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Redesigns and/or modifies existing processes and procedures to solve problems or improve procedures
- Design and implement new processes. Evaluate profitability, cost structure and prepare written justification.
- Prepares bid criteria to vendors for approved capital equipment purchase(s).
- Coordinates and oversees the installation of new equipment and processes through start-up, debug, operation and written procedures.
- Technical liaison between new product development initiatives and integration into manufacturing operations, including technology transfer, scale-up, process optimization, and validation activities.
- Monitors production processes and reviews procedures to ensure manufacture of products
- Facilitate problem solving (root cause analysis) within process systems and equipment, to include evaluation studies and trial runs.
- Manufacturing support, trouble-shooting and required reporting protocols of plant utilities/services including:
-Plant air supply system
-Plant explosion protection system
-Plant process water system(s)
-Plant wastewater treatment system
MUST HAVES:
BS degree in Engineering or Science (i.e. Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials engineering, Physics, Chemistry)
7 years of Process Engineering experience
Experience of handling hazardous chemicals/waste streams
NICE TO HAVES:
Lean manufacturing concepts
Six sigma green belt certification, or higher
Conceptual understanding of electrics, including PLC ladder logic
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
