Job Title: Senior Estimator

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Estimator for our Charleston office in the concrete division. This role is essential to our team, providing accurate estimates for sitework and utility projects while fostering strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates for sitework and utility projects.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotes and material costs.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful bid submissions.
• Continuously improve estimating processes.
• Foster relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide guidance to junior estimators.

Essential Skills

• Experience in earthwork estimating and utility estimating
• Proficiency in HCSS HeavyBid or Bid2Win software
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Trimble Business Center
• Ability to develop precise and competitive estimates
• Strong analytical skills to assess project requirements and costs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented and results-driven mindset

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3 years of estimating experience preferably from a concrete company
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• A passion for contributing to high-quality projects

Work Environment

You will be working in a brand new office building in Charleston. This role provides an opportunity to step into a senior position as the current Senior Estimator plans to retire in five years. Our company is a premiere site/concrete subcontractor in the South Carolina area.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
