Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

Job Description

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will lead and conduct process development activities, including process design and specifications, heat and mass balance, process scale-up and commissioning, technical risk assessments, and creating and maintaining accurate consumer-centric process specifications. You will be responsible for writing technical reports, managing stakeholders, making recommendations, and influencing decisions based on data analysis and interpretation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in an industrial scale cakes and pastries engineering environment, including soft cakes, cupcakes, brownies, muffins, croissants, and packaging.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

Work Environment

This is an R&D Senior Process Engineer position located in East Hanover, NJ. The site has approximately 400 employees, most of whom work a hybrid schedule, with labs open 5 days a week. The dress code is business casual. Typical working hours are 9-5 EST, although trials may require flexibility. Travel may be up to 25%. The company culture emphasizes a drive for results and fast-paced turnaround for new launches, with a casual work environment where employees can chat about hobbies and other interests.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
