Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with preferred knowledge in the industrial space, but open to other types of construction as well.
• The successful candidate will manage multiple large and small projects, ensuring they meet all technical and regulatory requirements.
• This role involves working closely with clients, contractors, and onsite staff, including two other Project Managers, a Project Coordinator, and a Safety Manager.

Responsibilities

• Interface with clients and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Recognize, handle, and process incoming requests for quotations.
• Work independently to interpret customer bid requirements and assemble detailed estimates.
• Manage direct labor work while overseeing project progress.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Collect and analyze all project costs, including raw materials, labor, equipment, and tooling to ensure accurate estimates.
• Estimate costs for engineering projects based on technical requirements.
• Conduct cost analysis at the completion of projects.
• Manage and mitigate project risks.

Essential Skills

• 7 years of experience in industrial construction and managing projects over $3M.
• A four-year degree in Construction Management or a tradecraft certification.
• Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization, customers, contractors, and other business partners.
• Experience reading construction drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge in MEP, Electrical, and Industrial Construction.
• Experience with estimation and change order processes.

Work Environment

• This position is based onsite in Rochester, NY. The role involves an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $57.00/hr.
