Job Title: RF Signal Processing Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented RF Signal Processing Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of next-generation Avionics hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and assess sensor and source integration and data association techniques for incorporation into tactical systems.
• Prototype concepts and algorithms for processing and integrating next-generation sensor measurement and target characterization systems into advanced networked target identification and electronic protection capabilities.
• Implement digital communication and/or DSP algorithms in hardware using FPGA devices.

Essential Skills

• BS/Masters in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 5 - 10 years of professional experience in developing RF signal processing solutions using FPGA implementation.
• Working knowledge of areas such as digital filtering, spectral estimation, detection and estimation theory, linear algebra, and stochastic processes.
• Experience in configuring and using Xilinx hardware primitives (DSP slices) and DSP component tools to realize functional DSP designs.
• Proficiency in VHDL, logic implementation, and simulation tools for complex FPGA designs.
• Detailed understanding of FPGA RTL design, hardware architecture, testbench design, synthesis, static timing analysis, timing closure, and clock domain crossing.
• Experience with Xilinx FPGA design (Vivado, synthesis, Place and Route, Timing implementation, verification, and validation for RF applications using SOC devices.
• Expertise with MATLAB, Linux/PetaLinux, Python, and C/C .
• Experience with implementing and refining DSP algorithms in C/C in SOC Linux or PetaLinux environment.

Work Environment

Must be either onsite in Grand Rapids, MI, Clearwater, FL, Fort Worth, TX, or Troy, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
