Job Title: Site Safety and Health Officer

Job Description

The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) is responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal health and safety guidelines and procedures on federal construction projects. The SSHO plays a key role in maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring the safety of all employees on site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a safe work environment for all employees on site.
• Oversee safety practices on federal construction projects.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in construction safety practices.
• Experience with site safety management.
• Knowledge of USACE or NAVFAC construction processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with EM-385.

Work Environment

This position involves working on federal construction sites, following stringent safety protocols. The role requires adherence to established guidelines, ensuring that safety is the top priority at all times.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
