Job Title: Software Hybrid Test Engineer - Infotainment

Job Description

In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on creating a software development environment that delivers lifetime value to our customers through simplicity, ingenuity, and sustainable returns. Your efforts will be centered around the development of sensors, ECUs, models, and software, with a passion for validating and verifying new features.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the creation of test automation for infotainment systems.
• Work within a fast-paced agile development team to enable software test automation at vehicle/module levels.
• Review specifications to identify clear product requirements.
• Develop and execute functional and integration test plans for feature implementation.
• Perform test execution in a hardware lab environment and prepare reports while adhering to test cadences.
• Automate test cases using Python and in-house libraries.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Investigate and reproduce in-vehicle infotainment software issues, verifying software fixes.
• Utilize defect management tools for defect creation and resolution monitoring.
• Understand and apply industry standards and tools for pipeline development.
• Follow best practices for code artisanship, quality, and security standards, and contribute to their improvement.

Essential Skills

• Experience in software validation and software test automation.
• Proficiency in Python script development.
• Ability to create software test cases.
• Manual software validation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• 3 years of relevant experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with infotainment systems.
• Preferred experience with Android or QNX.
• Knowledge of cloud and continuous integration/deployment tooling.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
