Job Title: Laboratory Accessioner

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Accessioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting, data entry, and preparing laboratory specimens for analysis and testing. This role is crucial in ensuring that specimens are correctly handled and processed for accurate testing results.

Responsibilities

• Clinical specimen accessioning
• Sort samples, including blood, plasma, urine, and other bodily fluids
• Enter patient information accurately into the data system
• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to appropriate staging areas
• Identify and label specimens correctly
• Pack and ship specimens to designated testing facilities
• Prepare and store excess specimen samples

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail, ensuring specimens are handled accurately and efficiently

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00
