Sr. Embedded Software Engineer (ARM/Linux)

Woburn, MA - Full-time position

Salary range: $160,000 - $190,000

DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented and motivated Robotics Embedded Software Engineer to work with the sensor team to develop and test sensor and compute systems. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with extensive experience in embedded software development. The candidate must have a strong desire to up-skill and self-develop. They must have the ability to work well both independently and in team settings.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop ARM processor based embedded software applications in C, C for embedded Linux systems.

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS/MS/PhD in computer science, computer engineering or related discipline.

• 5 years of professional embedded software development experience.

• Strong development experience with C/C for embedded Linux platforms

• Experience with embedded systems, including ARM CPUs, GPU computing.

• Experience with sensor data processing, sensor fusion, Computer Vision.

• Experience with GCC compilers for C/C Linux platform development

• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Excellent leadership, teamwork and collaboration skills with a high level of attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with DSP and GPU computing, familiar with CUDA, OpenCL highly preferred

• Experience with Nvidia Jetson

• Experience with sensors, including but not limited to camera, stereo camera, time-of-flight sensor, Radar, and Lidar.

• Experience with ISP processing and tuning such as de-noise, lens shading correction.

• Familiar with computer networking, UDP/TCP/IP

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr.
