Pharma is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our team in Willimantic, CT. As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our medical instruments and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Preparing Instruments: Wash, rinse, and dry medical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are free from contaminants.
- Operating Sterilization Equipment: Use and maintain sterilization equipment, such as autoclaves and sterilizers, to ensure proper sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Inspecting Instruments: Check instruments and equipment for any damage or defects before and after sterilization.
- Maintaining Records: Keep accurate records of all sterilized instruments and equipment, including dates, times, and methods used.
- Adhering to Protocols: Follow all infection control protocols and safety guidelines to prevent the spread of infection.
- Supporting Healthcare Staff: Assist healthcare staff by providing sterilized instruments and educating them on proper sterilization practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow strict protocols and procedures.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.

The pay range for this position is $27.06 - $29.77
