Job Title: Structural Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform drafting on products, ensure manufacturability, and coordinate with the sales team. This role requires a strong understanding of structural design, Solidworks or 3D CAD, and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform drafting on products using CAD-based software.
• Work with the production floor to ensure products can be manufactured efficiently.
• Coordinate with the sales team to align product design with client requirements.
• Utilize knowledge of design and drafting principles to create accurate technical drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Essential Skills

• Experience with structural design and drafting in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Solidworks or other 3D CAD software.
• Associate degree in Mechanical/Architectural Drafting, Industrial Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent experience and training.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to generating new ideas.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to frequent changes, manage competing demands, and handle delays or unexpected events while maintaining completion dates.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD-based drafting software.
• Strong facilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Work Environment

This position is based in an office environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
