Job Title: Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer with AutoCAD capabilities to design basic architectural drawings and structural components. This role involves foundation design, footings, steel beam construction, and performing structural analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design architectural drawings for standard metal warehouses, steel structures, such as pull barns and commercial buildings.
• Ensure buildings comply structurally with architectural designs.
• Work with the construction team to assist in design changes.
• Participate in the project from the pre-construction to the build stage.

Essential Skills

• PE License
• B.S. in Engineering Discipline
• Experience in structural and architectural design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software

Work Environment

• You will have the autonomy to work remotely. The role includes 80% computer design work and 20% meetings and project management responsibilities around the structural design process.
• Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. This position offers interesting work in the construction/general contracting world.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $49.00/hr.
