Job Title: Substation Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Substation Engineer with a strong background in site grading and foundation design. The ideal candidate must possess a Professional Engineer certificate as you will be responsible for stamping drawings. With over 7 years of experience in working on substations, you will provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to less experienced engineers within the department. This role involves on-site visits and providing civil and structural engineering services during the proposal, design, and construction of AIS and GIS projects. You will work closely with the project lead engineer to develop design criteria and document deliverables for the project.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil and structural engineering services during the proposal, design, and construction of AIS and GIS projects.
• Develop design criteria and document deliverable lists in collaboration with the project lead engineer.
• Conduct on-site visits to ensure project requirements are met.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to less experienced engineers within the department.
• Stamp drawings as required with your Professional Engineer certification.

Essential Skills

• Experience in substation engineering, site grading, and foundation design.
• Professional Engineer certificate.
• 7 years of experience working on substations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and substation design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with project lead engineers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $78.00 - $94.00
