Job Title: Superintendent HVAC and Plumbing

Job Description

The General Manager of HVAC and Plumbing oversees the daily operations, strategic planning, and overall performance of the HVAC and Plumbing Division. This role requires a dynamic leader with extensive experience in construction, particularly in excavation, concrete work, and project management. The General Manager will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, strategic planning, and overall performance of the HVAC and Plumbing Division.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Manage and lead a team effectively.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing construction processes and techniques.
• Handle project management and organizational tasks proficiently.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Use construction management software and tools efficiently.

Essential Skills

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing construction processes and techniques.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• OSHA certification or similar safety certifications are preferred.

Work Environment

Reports to the Vice-President of Construction. The position involves working in both office and field environments. Travel to job sites, client meetings, and industry events may be required. The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. Initially, this will be a working supervisory position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $57.69
