Job Title: Superintendent/QCM/SSHO

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent/QCM/SSHO to oversee a major federal project at the US Naval Observatory. This position involves managing a large interior renovation, including demolition, HVAC, electrical, and sprinkler upgrades. You will play a critical role in ensuring the project's quality control, safety, and successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors and work with government customers daily on quality control and safety.
• Plan, assign, and direct work according to the scope of work.
• Inspect work in progress to ensure workmanship conforms to quality standards and applicable codes.
• Manage scheduling and ensure successful completion of commissioning newly installed systems.
• Review project specifications, oversee hiring of subcontractors, and terminate as necessary.
• Develop Quality Control and Health & Safety procedures for federal projects.

Essential Skills

• Quality control
• OSHA 30 certification
• Federal construction experience
• Triple Hat experience overseeing GSA projects
• QCM certification
• EM-385 certification

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous federal construction experience
• Must have US citizenship

Work will be performed at the US Naval Observatory in Washington, DC. You will be part of a fast-growing general contracting team, working in a small, tight-knit crew aiming to establish a strong presence in the federal arena. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $57.69
