Job Title: Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent for a 12-month construction project. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years as a Superintendent on projects of similar size and complexity. This individual must be familiar with the requirements of EM 385-1-1 and possess experience in hazard identification and safety compliance. The candidate should be capable of interpreting a critical path schedule and construction drawings. The role involves working on a new construction project and retrofitting another commercial building at Barksdale Air Force Base.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish.
• Ensure compliance with EM 385-1-1 requirements and safety regulations.
• Identify hazards and implement safety measures.
• Interpret critical path schedules and construction drawings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain project timelines and ensure timely completion.
• Provide proof of qualifications if requested by the Contracting Officer.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 10 years of construction experience.
• At least 5 years as a Superintendent on similar projects.
• Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 requirements.
• Experience in hazard identification and safety compliance.
• Ability to interpret critical path schedules and construction drawings.
• Certified in EM 385-1.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience in federal construction.
• Knowledge of construction safety protocols.
• NAVFAC experience is a plus.
• Experience with USACE projects.

Work Environment

The role is based at a federal military base, involving new construction and retrofitting of commercial buildings. The work environment requires strict adherence to safety and compliance regulations. The project offers a long-term opportunity with a growing company that has a strong backlog of projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00
