Job Title: Civil Superintendent

Job Description

An established regional construction company is seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to join its team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing various phases of construction projects and demonstrate a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Verify safety compliance with all trades.
• Enforce all safety and quality-control policies.
• Supervise the physical construction of the project in strict accordance with contract documents and corporate policies.
• Maintain and plan reports, work-arounds, shutdowns, and tie-ins.
• Establish and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, workforce, subcontractors, design teams, unions, etc.
• Direct and coordinate the company workforce, trade subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver high-quality work on schedule.

Essential Skills

• Construction-document and drawing literacy, with knowledge of all phases of construction.
• Experience and proficiency in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control.
• 10 years' experience in a superintendent role on construction projects.
• OSHA 30-Hour training and an outstanding safety record.
• Strong understanding of cost control and performance management.
• Proficiency in managing site logistics and contract operations on tight urban sites.
• Strong technical and communication skills.
• Basic computer operations knowledge (training with corporate-specific software will be provided).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Procore software is a plus.
• Bridge experience is preferred.
• Must have experience in civil construction.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position. The work involves managing site logistics and contract operations on tight urban sites, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality work on schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

PTO, Holiday, truck reimbursement.

This is a fully onsite position in Arnold,MO.
