**Supplier Quality Specialist**

Job Description

As a Supplier Quality Specialist, you will represent FSQ Supply Chain on both internal and customer-facing teams, partnering with business and procurement teams to ensure food safety compliance. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will educate facilities on best practices and new provisions, provide FSQ support for product trials and launches, assist FSQ management and FSQ Quality Engineers, conduct supplier approvals and risk assessments, and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Represent FSQ Supply Chain on internal and customer-facing teams.
• Partner with business and procurement teams to ensure food safety compliance.
• Maintain supplier database and utilize Tracegains/Ross for information collection.
• Proactively manage annual supplier performance reviews.
• Educate facilities on best practices and new provisions as a subject matter expert.
• Provide FSQ support for product trials and launches.
• Assist FSQ management and FSQ Quality Engineers.
• Conduct supplier approvals and risk assessments.
• Travel 20% for supplier audits and inter-plant visits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience in the sciences.
• Proven experience in Supply Chain Compliance.

Work Environment

Office within a Food Manufacturing Company. Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
