Location: New Braunfels, TX
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgery Scheduler to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Reviewing messages sent from fax or email
- Checking in and checking out patients
- Collecting co-payments
- Confirming patient appointments
- Answering phone calls
- Surgery scheduling
- Handling prior authorizations
- Insurance verification
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a Surgery Scheduler
- Experience in surgery scheduling
- Prior authorization experience
- Insurance verification skills
- 2 years of front desk experience
- Experience in gastroenterology, OB/GYN, family practice, or surgical environments
Work Environment:
- Part Time Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday and Tuesday; Friday 4-hour days 8am-12pm OR Monday-Thursday 8am-12pm and Friday 8am-5pm
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
