Job Title: Survey CAD Technician

Job Description

Join a leading civil engineering firm as an experienced Survey CAD Technician. We offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for career advancement. This full-time position is based in our Phoenix/Mesa office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ALTA, boundary, and topographic surveys, final plats, and legal descriptions for public and private projects.
• Process survey field notes, perform survey-related research, and compile site-related information.
• Utilize knowledge of the Public Land Survey System, title commitments, easements, Arizona Boundary Survey Minimum Standards, and municipal submittal requirements.
• Work proficiently with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
• Leverage MicroStation experience, which is considered a plus.
• Understand construction calculation requirements, including reading plans, specifications or details, and as-builts.
• Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of land surveying experience.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Technical drafting degree preferred but not required.
• MicroStation experience is advantageous.
• Good communication skills.

The work environment is professional with a more casual dress code on Fridays. The office consists of around 80 civil engineering professionals along with some field surveyors. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00
