Description
Their Surveying Department is seeking a Survey Crew Chief. Responsible for performing topographic, boundary and utility surveys to determine numeric measurements and elevations of land development, parking lots, and buildings. Numeric measurements include finding 3D positions of specific points, distances and angles between building corners, elevations of the land, etc. All of this data they are collecting in the field is then given to drafters and designers so they can creating new buildings/land/etc.
Responsibilities
-Scanning, plotting, measuring points to create a surveying plan for their customers, accurately calculating & recording field data.
-Operation, proficiency, and calibration of survey equipment
-Ability to demonstrate accuracy, quality, and thoroughness
-Meet budget and productivity standards
-The operation, maintaining and organizing of trucks
-Safety awareness / Prepared for work every day
-Generate suggestions for improving workflow/cost savings

2 plus years as a Survey Crew Chief
Construction Staking & Layout experience
Clean Driving Record

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
