Job Title: Surveyor
Job Description
Responsible for traveling around Kentucky and the surrounding states to visit various Cell Tower sites for inspection, note-taking, and running GPS systems. This role requires flexibility in hours worked and time away from home, as the candidate will be on sites for less than a week before moving to the next. The candidate will communicate with multiple people daily.
Responsibilities
- Gathering field notes
- Performing basic adjustments on rods, levels, tribraches, and GPS equipment
- Maintaining all survey supplies
- Conducting public records research
- Downloading field data into laptops
- Working overtime as needed
Essential Skills
- Field service
- Land surveying
- GPS software
- Boundary surveying
- Construction site inspection
- Site survey
- Experience with rod man and tribrach
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2 years of field surveying experience
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work in the field, traveling to new sites weekly
Work Environment
You will work outdoors in various weather conditions, rain or shine, visiting cell tower sites and prospective construction areas for tower builds. The company provides a truck (not for personal use) and covers expenses, including hotels, meals, and gas during the workweek.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00
