Job Title: Systems Analyst

Job Description

The Systems Analyst will be a consummate professional with demonstrated problem-solving skills. This position requires personal and professional integrity. The person in this position must be a self-starter capable of accomplishing goals in a loosely supervised environment. It is important for the candidate to be able to work remotely effectively, staying on task even when working from home and overcoming the inevitable distractions that come with working outside the office.

Responsibilities

• Managing ticketing system and assigning tickets to advanced team members.
• Unpacking monitors, setting up end clients, connecting them to the network, and ensuring UPS redundancy across all switches.
• Providing technical support to the team, resolving any assigned technical support tickets.
• Troubleshooting the root cause of issues.
• Providing system training when the root cause is procedural.
• Architecting temporary workarounds for problems that cannot be resolved immediately.
• Providing guidance and insight to the IT leadership team on hardware and software performance.
• Developing procedural and training documentation for users.
• Participating in the design, selection, testing, and deployment of new hardware and software systems.
• Developing and maintaining training, use, and upkeep documentation for various systems.

Essential Skills

• Technical support experience.
• Ability to work with people in a friendly manner.
• Networking skills.
• Experience with printing, Windows OS, and Windows 365.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good documentation skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in system deployment and maintenance.
• Ability to provide system training and develop training documentation.

Work Environment

This role requires effective remote work capabilities. The candidate must stay on task even when working from home and be able to overcome distractions inherent in working outside the office.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
