Job Description

• Analyze systems and configuration requirements to design test equipment systems. Write requirements for implementing the validation bench.
• Create a conceptual design and architect the design, development, and implementation of a test system.
• Direct the design and development of test equipment systems encompassing both hardware and software components.
• Direct the design, development, and implementation of automated test scripts using Python.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test environments.
• Develop and execute system validation plans to ensure compliance with specified systems requirements.
• Write test scenarios to validate the system for each aircraft application.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing. Develop and maintain tools for test automation and continuous integration. Document test procedures, results, and analysis reports.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency in Python and C/C .
• System validation and automated test development.
• Experience with test bench development.
• Experience with hardware test equipment development.
• Proficiency in DO-178 standards.
• Experience in the aviation and defense sectors.
• Knowledge of LOOP, GIT, JIRA, ARINC 429, ARINC 717, UART, CAN, and Ethernet.
• Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in designing test equipment systems, preferably for the aerospace environment.
• Proficiency in hardware design and system integration.
• Experience with requirements management systems (DOORS).
• Experience in developing test scripts using high-level languages like C, C , or Python.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Previous experience leading the development of a system validation bench is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of ARINC 429, ARINC 717, UART, CAN, and Ethernet interfaces.
• Experience with Hardware-In-the-Loop testing.
• Experience with configuration and change management tools (e.g., GIT, JIRA).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $165000.00/hr.
