Description
The Technical Sales Engineer promotes the services of the business by combining their technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate leads and transition to sales prospects.
- Develop strategies to penetrate emerging markets.
- Field Requests for Quote, cost for labor and other direct charges to return competitive pricing.
- Implement capture strategies during pursuit of new business.
- Interpret customer requirements and negotiate favorable terms and acceptance criteria.
- Provide technical guidance, support and status updates to customers.
- Work with Engineering and Design Teams to tailor services to meet customer needs.
- Participate in market research and attend trade shows and conferences.
- Prepare forecast and status reports for Leadership Team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in aerospace composites Manufacturing Engineering and Estimation experience.
- 1-3 years of Project Management experience in an aerospace environment.
- An Engineering Degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated track record in reducing waste and improving efficiency through use of Lean MFG tools, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.
- Hands-on experience in lamination of composite components is preferred.
- CAD (Solidworks, Catia) preferred.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00
