Job Title: Technical Writer

Job Description

This role supports engineering teams by creating clear customer-facing product manuals, assembly instructions, and repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Create clear and comprehensive product manuals, assembly instructions, and repair procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather technical information and ensure accuracy.
• Develop technical documentation for hardware manufacturing.
• Utilize SolidWorks Composer to create images
• Write operations and maintenance procedures, particularly for large systems
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, both mechanical and electrical.

Essential Skills

• Experience with DITA XML
• Proficiency in technical writing with 5 years experience
• Familiarity with SolidWorks Composer
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (mechanical and electrical).
• Strong writing skills for technical documentation.
• Experience in hardware and electronics documentation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
