Job Title: Technical Writer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled technical writer to assist in preparing comprehensive documentation for our security software. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers to gather information, deeply understand security services and libraries, and create tutorials and example programs for partner teams and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Interview engineers and gather information about designs, APIs, and interfaces
• Read documentation and code to gain a deep understanding of how security services and libraries operate
• Write clear and concise tutorials and example programs for use by partner teams or external customers

Essential Skills

• Technical writing experience
• Background in Computer Science
• Ability to write clear and concise English documentation, possibly from code
• Proficiency in reading and writing Golang code

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Computer Science degree (Associates or Bachelors) strongly preferred
• Familiarity with protobufs is a plus

Work Environment

This is an on-site position requiring collaboration with various teams. The role involves working with security software, and the dress code is business casual.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00
