Job Title: Test Engineer

Job Description

Support an existing team with product level testing, component and system instrumentation, safe operation and execution of tests with an ongoing product development team. Responsible for testing 3-phase high voltage systems and performing variable frequency drive set up and testing during the design process.

Responsibilities

• Support product level testing and system instrumentation
• Ensure the safe operation and execution of tests
• Test 3-phase high voltage systems
• Set up and test variable frequency drives during the design process
• Set up and modify test equipment
• Prepare test reports on project assignments
• Troubleshoot and maintain lab equipment
• Evaluate and recommend the purchase and/or assembly of new laboratory equipment and test fixtures

Essential Skills

• Product testing
• Mechanical and electrical skills
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Experience with oscilloscopes
• 2 years of testing experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• AS or BS in Electronics or Engineering is a plus
• Must be mechanically inclined

Work Environment

The role involves working in a laboratory setting with various testing equipment. The candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining test equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. The position may require handling high voltage systems and using oscilloscopes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
