Test Technician

Hiring Test Technicians for a leading innovator in high quality custom ice protection and temperature control systems in the aerospace, industrial and transit industries.

Location:

• Required to work in our Plainview, NY location 5 days a week.
• Shuttles provided from LIRR to Warehouse

First Shift: 40-hours/week

• Start time: 7:00am-9:00am
• 8-hour shifts for 5 days a week
• OR
• 4-day work week
• 10-hour shifts

Qualifications:

• 1 years of experience with mechanical or electrical assembly
• Experience with soldering, wiring
• Knowledge of electrical circuits with ability to reading and interpret schematics.
• Knowledge of reading electrical or mechanical blueprints

PAY: $20-$22 AN HOUR

Key Responsibilities:

• Test prototypes, devices, and other products using standard lab equipment and processes under the guidance of engineers.
• Maintain records of preliminary schematics and document test results.
• Perform operational tests and fault isolation on product assemblies and hardware.
• Conduct audits and tests of products in development, debug and characterize defects, and provide detailed reports.
• Assist product development engineers in diagnosing and replicating product failures, and analyze test results to make recommendations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
