Job Description: Test Technician

We are seeking a Test Technician with strong investigative skills and a solid understanding of pressure and flow. The ideal candidate will have good mechanical skills, including experience with basic hand tools such as wrenches and hand equipment. This role requires the ability to set up test stands and perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on testing (75%) and handle paperwork/documentation (25%).
• Set up and run test stands, ensuring accurate data collection.
• Troubleshoot issues such as leaks, identifying causes and solutions.
• Fill in and provide feedback on paperwork templates created by engineers.
• Assist in developing and improving testing processes within the company.

Essential Skills

• Investigative thought process.
• Understanding of pressure and flow.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools (wrenches, hand equipment).
• Mechanical skills (auto, disassembly, etc.).
• Experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Prior hands-on testing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with documentation and technical writing.
• Knowledge of test strategy, test fixtures, test engineering, and test development.
• AAS/BS degree with coursework in labs is a plus but not required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
