Job Title: Transportation Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Transportation Project Manager to lead and direct the design of transportation engineering projects. The ideal candidate will prepare and review reports, studies, design calculations, plans, specifications, and estimates, as well as conduct site visits. You will work with engineers of all experience levels to produce innovative and high-quality solutions, assist with preparing proposals and statements of qualifications for projects, and manage scope, budget, schedule, and client needs for several simultaneous projects. Additionally, you will participate in business development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the design of transportation engineering projects.
• Prepare and review reports, studies, design calculations, plans, specifications, and estimates.
• Conduct site and field visits.
• Collaborate with engineers of all experience levels to produce innovative and high-quality solutions.
• Assist with preparing proposals and statements of qualifications for projects.
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, and client needs for several simultaneous projects.
• Participate in business development efforts.

Essential Skills

• Experience with IDOT guidelines and standards.
• Proficiency in MicroStation (OpenRoads, PowerGeopak, and Geopak).
• Project management experience.
• Knowledge of ADA, Civil 3D, and traffic analysis.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in transportation engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with OpenRoads, PowerGeopak, and Geopak.
• Ability to prepare proposals and statements of qualifications.
• Strong business development skills.

Work Environment

The work environment for this role is primarily office-based, with 90% of the time spent in the office and 10% on-site or field visits. The company advocates for a good work-life balance and is very family-oriented. The company is 100% employee-owned.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.86 - $64.90/hr.
