Job Title: Utility Inspector
Job Description
The Utility Inspector's primary responsibility is to observe and document the contractor’s work to ensure that the installation complies with government regulations, client procedures, and construction contract drawings and specifications. The role involves driving to utility poles, taking pictures with an iPad, and uploading them to AutoCAD.
Responsibilities
- Observe and document contractor’s work to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications.
- Drive to utility poles and take pictures using an iPad.
- Upload pictures to AutoCAD for documentation.
- Ensure safety management practices are followed.
- Conduct construction inspections for various utility projects.
Essential Skills
- Safety management
- OSHA 10 certification
- Experience in utility construction
- Knowledge of underground cable installation
- Proficiency in construction inspection
- Documentation skills
- Engineering background
- OSHA 30 certification
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields

Work Environment
The work environment is primarily outside in the field. The role offers opportunities to network with large engineering and construction firms in the Midwest. The project offers a competitive hourly rate, per diem, reimbursable mileage, and other perks.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
