Job Title: VDC Technician

Job Description

Develop and manage Building Information Models (BIM) using Revit software. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to create detailed 3D models. Ensure accuracy and completeness of models, including all necessary details and specifications. Assist in the coordination and clash detection processes to identify and resolve conflicts. Produce construction documents and detailed drawings from the BIM models. Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle. Provide technical support and training to team members on Revit and BIM processes. Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of BIM standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Revit software.
• Experience in developing and managing BIM models.
• Ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams.
• Knowledge of construction documents and detailed drawings.
• Familiarity with coordination and clash detection processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Candidates need at least two years of experience working as a Revit Technician at a MEP contractor or engineering consultant.
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of electrical codes.

Work Environment

• Must be located in Wisconsin
• Office based position with the possibility of remote work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
