General Function:
The Candidate is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operational effectiveness of the ambulance service. This role includes strategic planning, personnel management, regulatory compliance, budgeting, resource deployment and fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.
Major Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight of daily ambulance operations, ensuring efficient resource deployment.
- Review policies, procedures, and best practices for emergency medical services.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to ambulance operations.
- Develop and oversee the department’s budget, ensuring financial sustainability.
- Have an understanding of customer demand and resource deployment to optimize service efficiency, ensuring timely and effective emergency response.
- Handle community relations, public outreach, and educational programs to promote EMS services.
- We are looking for a leader who excels in employee engagement and conflict resolution, fostering a positive work environment, enhancing team morale, and ensuring effective communication across all levels.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
