Overnight Tow Driver

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing roadside assistance and towing services to customers in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires strong conflict management skills, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Duties

• Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to transport vehicles safely.
• Respond promptly to towing requests and provide roadside assistance as needed.
• Load and unload vehicles from the tow truck using proper techniques to ensure safety.
• Conduct basic automotive diagnostics and repairs on-site when applicable.
• Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including vehicle condition and any incidents.
• Communicate effectively with customers to assess their needs and provide solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while on duty.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the tow truck to ensure it is in good working condition.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Tow Truck Driver or in a similar role is preferred, but will train.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive repairs.
• Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
